We had the opportunity to learn about Barcelona’s history and the architectural trends that developed throughout it. The highlight was definitely learning more about Guadi, and his growth as an architectural genius. A must do tour during your stay in Barcelona!”

Reviewed 17 April 2014“Miguel was extremely easy to communicate with via email regarding the tour and payment. He met us at our meeting spot and proceeded to teach us about the period of modernism in Barcelona’s architectural history. We got a very good background of how the city was developed and how it spread out over the years. He showed us courtyards, backs of buildings and special city blocks that taught us with our eyes what he was explaining to us. The last part of the tour focused on gaudi – casa mila and casa batllo. It was perfect because we scheduled our tickets for the sagrada familia a couple hours after our tour with miguel, so everything was fresh in our minds.
Miguel is a local architect who clearly is passionate about barcelona and it’s architecture. He was personable and seemed and all around great guy. You really should book a tour with him!! We travelled with our two sons (11 & 13) and they were equally entertained. thanks, miguel!!
