Tourism Management (Universitat de les Illes Balears)

Degree in Humanities (Universitat Pompeu Fabra)

Master in Cultural Communication (Universitat de Barcelona).

I give talks and presentations to groups of alumni of different universities, attendees of congresses and students of business schools. My major presentations and lectures are Introduction to Barcelona, The World of Gaudí, History of Barcelona & Catalonia, and The Universe of Picasso.

I’m a licensed tour guide of Barcelona & Catalonia, where I’ve been working since 1997. Based on my experience of 22 years as a professional guide and about 30 years in the tourism industry, I work as a trainer for tour guides. More than just academic pedigree, a tour guide must possess very good communication skills, display a passion for his subjects and enjoy communicating with people of different ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds.

I’m the only member of the BAW team that is not an architect… but I’m a passionate interpreter of the architecture, especially Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner works. My passion for history and culture has made me into a skilled interpreter of the heritage of Catalonia. “At the end of the tours, I love to see how the visitors understand and appreciate better what they’ve seen and experienced”.
